Echoes

We get in return exactly what we give. It all comes back. Incredible mirrors our action to an emphatic degree, sometimes in greater measure than we give. The results are often embarassing, or tragic. If you want others to judge you and condemn you, you start it. If you want them to be understanding, broad-minded, allowing you room to be you...then begin by being that way yourself. Like begets like. Smiles breed smiles. A positive attitude is contagious. Unfortunately, so are frowns, sighs and harsh words. Whatever you deposit in the echo bank, you draw in return. Sometimes with interest.

Diversions

Diversions are essential to our health and personal developments as food is to our nourishment. And it's funny you can always tell when it's time to shift gears and change hats. The frown gets deeper, the inner spirit gets irritable, the mind gets fatigued - these are signals to you that say, "Don't abort, divert! Don't cave in, get away! Don't crumble, create!" The saddest believers I know - those most bored, most lonely, most miserable, most filled with self-pity - are those who have never developed interests outside the realm of their work.

Life is challenging

Life is short, every moment wells up challenging possibilities. Because it is uncertain, it's filled with challenging adjustments. Life is abundant with challenges, brimming with possibilities, spilling over with opportunities to adapt, shift, alter and change. This is the perspective that keep people young. It is also the path that leads to optimism and motivation.

Every new dawn, before you awaken, life makes a delivery to your front door, rings the doorbell, and runs. Each package is cleverly wrapped. Put together they comprise a series of challenging opportunities brilliantly disguised as unsolvable problems.

FAMILY VACATION

My family and I went to La Union and Vigan, Ilocos Sur last March 24-26. It was the first time for my daughters to visit the said provinces. My youngest had fun playing with the waves and building castles in the sand . And my eldest daughter was very thrilled to ride a "kalesa" and tour the old houses of Vigan.
It was very tiring for my husband because of the long drive but seeing how happy it made our daughters made it all worthwhile.

A new baby

I visited my friend a couple of days ago. She gave birth to a very cute baby boy. She has an amazing threshold for pain. She gave birth through a lamaze method.
I remember when i gave birth to my first baby. It was really painful. My eldest daughter weighed 7.8 lbs. I was in labor for hours. When i woke up in the recovery room i thought i died.  because when i opened my eyes all i saw was the blue sky because i was lying on a bed beside an open huge window....so stupid of me, and then a nurse came in and then i realized i survived it.
Giving birth to a child truly makes a woman complete.

Count your blessings

My daughters' kisses woke me up this morning. It's their morning ritual to kiss me before going to school. I have two daughters aged 10 and 7. Every school days our maid wakes them up and prepares them for school. A school bus picks them up. I'm a working mom and I'm very thankful for having a reliable maid and school service for my kids. Waking up late is a luxury for a working mom.
These are little blessings and I'm truly thankful.

Thursday at work

Cant wait for Friday...
